MONTEGO BAY, St James — Caribbean Producers Jamaica (CPJ) recently honored their staff members at a glitzy ceremony on the lawns of the historic Rose Hall Great House in Montego Bay.

The company, which is in its 22nd year of operations, recognized 63 employees for exemplary work and delivering above expectations. They received cash, jewelry, airline tickets, appliances, and televisions, as part of their incentive package on the night.

Employee of the Year, Manager of the Year, Spirit Award, and Chairman’s Choice were among some of the main categories which came in for special mention.

Jermaine Lynshue, warehouse specialist, walked away with the coveted Employee of the Year title, claiming for himself a 32’’ television set and $75,000 in prize money, while, on the management side, Ian Harriot, credit manager, picked up the Manager of the Year award, pocketing a whopping $100,000 cash prize as well as two airline tickets.

Karen Wynter, customer service manager, a past Employee of the Year awardee, copped the prize for Chairman’s Choice, while Dahlia Martin, human resources assistant, picked up the Spirit Award, voted by her peers as the employee that best embodies the company’s spirit.
