The battle between night and day raged at the start of Scotia Investment’s wine-tasting and cocktail reception at CRU Bar and Kitchen, Lady Musgrave Road, on Wednesday.

The day and its accompanying heat fought hard to hold on, until, its inevitable demise by the night.

With the birth of the night and the warm summer day appropriately chilled, guests began pouring into the sea of red that blanketed the rooftop bar. They took great pleasure in enjoying savoury cocktails under fair skies.

Chief Executive Officer Lissant Mitchell welcomed everyone to the event organised for staff and clients to become better acquainted in a relaxed setting. The evening was also organised as a way of showing their appreciation to clients who have joined the Scotia Investments family, as he hopes to strengthen their relationship.

Deemed a meet and greet, Mitchell encouraged everyone to unwind, relax and enjoy the evening.

And they did. CPJ executive Raihn Sibblies took to the stage to welcome all to her ‘humble abode’ before it was time for everyone to get onboard for the journey to wine country.
