MONTEGO BAY (ST.JAMES) – The 2013 CPJ Football Competition received its official “kick off” on Friday, October 11, 2013, on the grounds of the Staff Wellness Centre, Freeport, Montego Bay.

This year’s competition will see a total of seven teams participating including the defending champions Vampire United, back to defend their crown. The other remaining teams in this season’s competition include Meat Plant F.C., Finance F.C, Juice Plant Quenchers, Warehouse Strikers and Out-a-Road.

The seven-week competition will see matches played Monday through Thursday on the Caribbean Producers football field under lights, with each game set for a 5:30 pm start on match days. Each game will run for an hour and will see the winner accumulating three points.

The top four teams will advance to the semi-finals, from where the winners will face off in the championship match. Out-a-Road and Finance F.C have been tipped as the teams to beat this season.
